If you ask a woman what men want, you’re not likely to get the right answers.
Contrary to popular belief, we aren’t as superficial as we’re portrayed to be, and therein lies the reason behind some of the mistakes women make when trying to understand a man’s needs.
What men want is simple, but not as superficial as just sex, food, beer, and sports. If you really want to know what men want, you have to understand a simple concept:
- A man wants to feel like a man.
That’s easy enough, right?
But it isn’t.
5 Things Men Want
We aren’t just rutting pigs that will make any circular orifice our girlfriend for the night if it’s socially acceptable (or not). If you can make your man feel like a man, however, his eyes will never wander…ever.
Why should you care what men want? Because knowing what men want and delivering it is the easiest way to get what YOU want when it comes to your relationship needs.
Here is a partial list you should keep in mind when trying to understand what men want:
1. Men want to be admired – Your respect is the cornerstone of his self-esteem. Make him feel like James Bond or Superman and he’ll be wrapped around your little finger.
2. Men want to be supported - He likes to act independent, but he needs your support in his work. Without it, he won’t ever go as far as he could. It’s all a part of that admiration thing.
3. Men want to feel secure – Men are very insecure about their women. If we think you are attracted to other men, we’ll crumble. Reassure him that he is the only one.
4. Men want to be your hero – Give him praise when he tries, even if the outcome is a complete failure. If you do, he’ll keep trying.
5. Men want sex to be uninhibited – This doesn’t mean you should do anything with which you’re uncomfortable, but being able to relax, have fun, and fulfill his fantasies will ensure he won’t need to look elsewhere.
There are only five items on this list, but they are the core, basic requirements for what men want. All other needs stem from them.
Whether your man deserves all this attention or not, it’s the best way to getting the effort returned.
